It’s been a week since I arrived in Croatia, and I’ve already done and seen quite a lot of interesting things.
At the high school, the students made a really nice presentation about Croatia and I definitely added some places to my must-visit list from it. Next week it’s my turn to present Ukraine:)

We also started getting ready for Easter with a workshop where we made cute Easter bunnies out of spoons.

I also visited a dormitory, where I played and did some drawings with kids. I really enjoyed spending time together.
Overall, Zagreb has welcomed me very warmly. People here are really friendly and kind, and most of them speak English very well, which makes communication much easier.
I also want to say that the apartment is really bright and lovely, with a unique interior and a beautiful terrace. I can’t wait for it to get warmer so I can spend my evenings reading out.

My first weekend, I went to the cinema (which is actually very convenient because most movies are in English), and even went to the seaside in Rijeka for a short Saturday trip.

I’m looking forward to the next week and whatever it brings😊
