Recently, during our Friday workshops, we tried an interesting art therapy technique- neurographica.
Its essence is to express your emotions and organize your thoughts through shapes and lines, rounding sharp angles and adding colors.
First, we made a wish and drew two circles on a blank sheet of paper: one representing ourselves and the other representing our wish. Some of the wishes shared were incredibly sweet and really touched my heart.
Then we started filling the page with neuro lines, smoothing the intersections and adding colors that we associate with this wish.
Some students chose to keep their drawings in one color palette, while others, on the contrary, used as many different colors as possible and that was very interesting too.
In the end, we created amazing drawings, which we signed and hung on the wall.
I had tried this technique many times before, but this was the first time I was in the role of a “teacher,” explaining and guiding others.
So for me, it was a very interesting and valuable experience. The students also said they really enjoyed it :)
