Last week, I attended my on-arrival training in Orahovica, a city in Eastern Croatia. The training consisted of various workshops focusing on our volunteering and its connection to the European Solidarity Corps. Through these workshops, we got to explore each other's cultures, and share our experiences. We also delved into understanding our roles, responsibilities, learning strategies, and conflict resolution techniques.

Beyond the training sessions, I had the opportunity to forge new friendships, explore the two only bars in Orahovica, and even go hiking to the ruined castle near the city.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the training experience and returned home with a treasure trove of memories, newfound knowledge, and valuable experiences that will undoubtedly benefit me throughout my volunteering journey.
