Introducing myself and French culture to students ! ~ Emma

Hey, it's Emma, the French volunteer in the school ! 

To better introduce myself I had the pleasure of introducing myself, my hometown, and the French culture. Some information is in Croatian, with accompanying images to aid comprehension, while Natalia, the French/English teacher, assists in translating as needed. 

They were deeply engaged, particularly drawn to the visuals showcasing my hometown and notable French landmarks. Their interest extended to French cuisine, especially those are in pastry or cook courses. 

I also shared my hobbies, particularly my commitment to ecology, aligning with my volunteer work for the zero waste project. I illustrated these values by opting for train travel over flying to reduce CO2 emissions. They were impressed by the journey, as depicted in a short video, especially noting the lengthy duration (over 24 hours).

Next step : cook French meals with them ! 🧑🏻‍🍳
